Whooohooooo~!!!!

I simply lurve this day!!! The event was kinda lame.. Boring... Etc... BUT!! I still enjoyed every moment!!! XD Cos of the people i was with!! Managed to meet alot of the sgclub forum people.. Simply LURVE THEM!!! **huggs** Their all such a frinedly, crappy, funny bunch of people... Though the event was kinda small-scale, with very little cosplayers this time.. It was still a sugoku fun day!!! ^o^ Tanoshikatta~! Here are some pics:

Overall, had an enjoyable day... With all the sgclub pple.... We went to Manga Oasis @ suntect after the event for lunch/dinner....haha... Practically filled up the whole cafe... A whole group of punks/lolita... haha... Fun! But abit pai seh when pple stare at us on the mrt... :X Oh yah... There was also souless/Jason from sgclub that's not in the pictures. he cosplayed night class VK. And also, 2 of shiro's friend, Dev and Gary... Dev: pro bass guitarist!! OMG.... And he's sooo like nerf papa.. LOLx! Never thought i'll see 2 people with such resemblance.. haha..

Anyway, had fun with all of them.. BUT!! i missed the Shooting club farewell party... T.T Cos my mum din let me go.... Sobbx... Hopefully i can see my fellow shooters soon!

アンティック-珈琲店- [Antique Cafe]

Yay~!! My first post on J-rock groups.. This is アンティック-珈琲店- a.k.a Antique Cafe. In short, AnCafe!!! AnCafe was formed in May 2003 with Miku, Kanon and Bou who would later be joined by Teruki after leaving his former band, Feathers-Blue. In 2007, the band announced their first overseas appearance at Project A-Kon. The announcement of this was followed shortly by the departure of guitarist, Bou. The last performance with Bou was on April 30,2007.After Bou left the band, two new members were announced; Takuya to replace Bouas the guitarist, and Yuuki to joing An Cafe as a keyboardist.

LINE -UPs:
On Vocals, we have...... MIKU!! o(≧∀≦)o Nyappy!

Miku is just soooo..... Kawaii~!! Just that i dun wanna flood this blog with his cute pics... I've got many more... Heh heh...

On Guitar, we have..... TAKUYA!!On Bass, we have....... KANON!!

OMG~!! Kanon is pure Hotness!! I lurve his image.... He's so cool, yet 'chio' at times.. And i really really really lurve his bass!!! Bassists Rule!!! haha.. He's my fav!On Keyboards, we have..... YUUKI!!On drums, we have..... TERUKI!!!

Erm.. His looks are rather average, but i can't deny that his drumming skills are good. Real good... ^^Previously, we had, on guitar... BOU!! (2003-2007)

BOU!!!! T.T Why did he have to leave ANCAFE?? Yes. i said HE! dun be mistaken by his looks. Bou is a GUY!! Doesn't he just put us girls to shame?? He's so girlishly kawaii and chio... >.<AnCafe is considered as a Visual Kei band and if i'm not wrong, they also fall under the Oshare Kei genre. Many of their songs are happy and lively, e.g Ryuusei Rocket & Smile Ichiban ii Onna. Of cuz, they have some slightly more emotional songs like Rinne no Tsuumi too. Erm.. And typical J-rock songs like Gangu, where u can hear Miku doing the 'screams'. Oh yah! Check out their mini movie Bonds ~Kizuna~. Storyline is kinda like Nana, just that Kanon's image is eh... Different...? Kinda cute.. [ugly but adorable]... Haha... The song itself is not bad too!!

Overall, i think their a Superb group, with a unque image and i kinda like Miku's voice as it's quite unique, though some might say he's acting cute.. :X But he IS kawaii~!! >.<

I really lurve Kanon too!! His bass is... WOW!! Or maybe i exaggerate cos i just lurve bassists.. =P But still, <33 Kanon~♥

Kk. Back to a slightly more serious review. AnCafe has been a long time supporter and endorser of popular Japanese fashion label Sex Pot Revenge, as they are frequently seen wearing clothing from that label. Check out Sex Pot Revenge's website here: http://www.sexpot.jp/

Really kinda miss Bou and Kanon's image here... I seriously prefer Kanon's purely-black hair... Anyway, here's some songs for u all to check them out.. **WARNING** They might sound 'Bleah' to u all if u're not used to J-rock songs. But please, this is oshare style. Accept it and dun criticise. Will intro more j-rock bands soon. Probably one that's more 'dark', more towards visual kei too. Not as colourful as AnCafe...

Singapore Museum [With shooting friends]

XD Went to watch alvin and the chipmunks with shooting friends... ^.^ Soooo cute!! haha.. Then after that, believe it or not, we went to singapore museum.. Haha... we're just so crazy.. Anyway, was there only about 15-20 mins... Din really see much cos most exhibition needed $$.... haha..
There was 1 super cool wall (@ chest-level height).. made of cement (obviously)... Then there was this sign that said:" CAUTION, wet! Do NOT put things on top of it." We were staring doubtfully, cos the top of this 'wall' looked solid.. haha.. then i 'poked' with my finger and OMG... It's water.. haha.. The water was sooo still it just looked like solid.. haha. Imagine pple putting their bags on top and BLOP! the bag sinks down.. haha...
Sighs.... It's now year 2008 already... I'm still slacking non-stop... Watchin' anime, searching on j-rock, watch TV.... Etc.... I NEED EXERCISE!!! Gosh! Kk... I will try to be more productive.. Hopefully i can find tutees soon... I need $$!!! haha...
Hmm... for these 1-2 months, my blog posts will be mainly on music reviews of certain J-rock bands.. So pple who are not interested pls ignore k?? Cos i wanna be more organised rather than randomly listening to bands and forgetting about them.. >.<
