Sigh.... decided not to watch spain VS portugal.
Cos the 0 - 0 score at halftime made me =(
i'm reminded of Japan's hardwork,
tho lady luck wasn't on their side.

JAPAN

Not my country. Not where i grew up.
But i have no idea why i'm drawn to it. So much.
Be it language, recreation, anime, drama, ethics, tradition.
I like them all. =P
My dad has been saying,
"you'll think even their fart is fragrant!"
in cantonese. haha.
no lah... i'm not that extreme. =)
But after going to Japan for that 10 day trip,
I'm loving it even more~!
And now when i watch animes i marvel:
at how the scenery is a total replica of how places in Japan are.
I recognise train stations (their names),
how the electrical cables are strung across roads, etc...
Cool~ to see Japan in animated form.
Never thought so much about the backgrounds of animes last time, b4 i went to Japan.
I ever thought about working in Japan, after i graduate.
I can be an english or chinese tutor while i study Japanese there.
But i know my parents won't allow.
I'm wondering if i should join WWOOF, an organisation that provides hosts in Japan. U work for them for 6 hours a day and they provide lodging and food. Plus, these places are usually farms, plantations, inns, etc... so u get to enjoy the nature tooo~ I'm tempted. but i know my parents won't allow... =( anyway...
AND NOW, to touch on WORLD CUP 2010.
yesh. i support JAPAN, i still do.
They fought hard, ending up (with south korea) one of the 2 Asian countries to make it to the knock-out rounds. The FIRST country to score a goal DIRECTLY from free kicks with the stupid Jabulani ball. AND they did it TWICE. I'm proud of them. ♥
In the Knock-out rounds. They fought. They defended.
Against a strong south-american team: Paraguay.
Score: 0 - 0
Entered extended time: still, 0 - 0
Then it was penalties. i hoped kawashima could save at least one.
Like he did previously. but well, penalties are hard to save.
strikers for penalty: Endo, Hasebe, Honda
THEY DID WELL. but poor Komano screwed up.
Pressure too huge i guess. =X
So, Japan got ''knocked-out" but paraguay thru PENALTIES.
Well, they fought hard for 120mins. They did well.
I AM PROUD OF THEM.
Who says Japan team is lousy! humph!
Hasebe, great captian, performed well.
Same for Matsui, nakamura, honda and endo. Superb midfielders.
And 3 cheers for tulio and nakazawa, for all the amazing saves.
kudos to goalie kawashima, for outstanding saves too!
sigh... yup, but they still lost. all hopes dashed.

Sat was great. Went for RESONANCE concert.
Pro singers. with a hawt prissypoo performing 3 items.
Great vocals, great performance, very professional.
2 thumbs up! went for supper after that, went home 1am,
got ticked off by my dad. =(
Missed indy outing on sunday. drats.
feeling apologetic for not celebrating anna's 21st birthday.

kimutaku drama caught my attention once again.
watched the 6 episodes.
well, its kinda normal, rather depressing,
but it shows the harsh reality of life.
I'm just feeling sad for ninomiya maemi.
But well, i won't know the ending till i watch the last epi. =)

Tue went on movie date with yiwei.
Haha~ catched Toy Story 3 and Karate Kid.
Awesome! loved both. and....
JADEN SMITH IS SO CUTE!!!
and he has 6packs at such a young age. @.@

world cup: YAY~! South Korean got in!
Unfortunately they're facing Uruguay next match,
chances of surviving are low... =(
Now hopefully Japan gets into knock-out rounds too!

i'm back to the internet world!
nope, i wasn't grounded.
or scolded.
cos i haven't told them my results. :X
haven't been coming online for almost a week.
reason being, i was READING!!
haha.... it feels so good to get back to my nerd mode.
to read like nobody's business...
to be absorbed into the world of fantasies.
Seriously, i guess medival/fantasy books are the
ONLY things that can stop me from going online,
keep me from drama/anime. =)
K, i've spent like a day each reading the 4 books of twilight series.
LIKE FINALLY.
More than 10hrs a day of continuous reading. SHIOK.
but all in all, i only thoroughly enjoyed book 1 and 4,
i.e Twilight and Breaking Dawn.
sort found new moon and eclipse draggy.
Well, i'm aware that meyer needs to drag to explain stuff, but she wrote book 1 and 4 too well for me to enjoy book 2 and 3. haha...
I love how she manages to slowly insert the histories of the cullen family and how they all play an important role in the family. Sweet~
kk.. i can go on and on disecting the plots,
but i shan't. haha...
Breaks in between reading would be dedicated to important matches of the world cup. XD
Although not a soccer fan, first match i watched, cameroon VS netherlands got me addicted.
Not that my family watches soccer, but since my uncle happens to be a soccer coach who subscribes to the channel, and the lucky me uses his SCV box, i GAIN~! haha....
So~ to sum it up,
YUP, it's about 1 month since holidays, and i've done NOTHING.
while others work, gain knowledge, experience, etc, i'm slacking my butt off.
monday onwards, i shall do more productive stuff!

it's been like a year since i last watched animes.
but... this hols i'm back to watching them.
since animes are only 20mins per episode.
i can't watch dramas cos if i stare at the screen too long,
my dad will come nagging.

looking back at the past entries, i realised i've changed.
a lot.
i used to be so positive, confident, etc..
these days, posts are all so negative and depressing.
it's time i stop. =)
yup. and accept the fact that i AM dumb and stupid.
useless.
so what can i do?
only way is to work harder than before.
now that i'm not living in RH anymore, studies come 1st.
no more commitments.
work hard and be satsified.
no more day dreams. (once in awhile okay lah)

being stuck at home, with nothing to do.
facing my parents everyday, and the row of uni books on my shelf.
feeling guilty always for bad CAP.
feeling guilty for not telling my parents my results are out.
but still, don't feel like touching anything related to uni yet.
can't take my mind of stuff with the usual 'drama' avenue,
cos my dad is around.
