Next up, Went for J-rock matsuri and cosplay matsuri on 15/16 March. There are many pics to post.. BUt i'm super duper lazy to upload. Shall post a few onli. More comments.. XD
Well.. The usual Sgclub members group photo.. XD Just that it's a waste Kaiwen and Jie hui weren't around at that time.. >.< 
Since it's a j-rock event, there's obviously j-rock groups. First up, HellvenX. Woow~! I was seriously blown away by the guitarist's solo. Seriously superb!! The whole band was good, the bass, the other guitarist and the KEYBOARDIST!! Their covers were well done... But the vox was kinda CMI... At least i think so... He couldn't project the high notes.. voice not clear enuf.. Heard that he smokes.. That's probably the reason... Also, i heard the he proposed to his gf the last live performance they had at PBO! Wow... Lucky gal.. XD But still, i can't get over his version of X Japan's endless rain.. It was just sooo.... un-toshi-like. (Toshi is the vox of X Japan.) But probably, i expect too much. Toshi's voice can't be imitated easily. HellvenX's vox was just presenting the song in his own way i guess... However, it doesnt change the fact that he couldn't project the high notes of other songs... =P But the BAND is seriously good.
Next up was Ethe'Real. THIS vocalist was good.. Seriously. They did a cover of L'arc~en~ciel's LINK. Damn good... The vocalist could hit the high notes clearly~!! And the bass was WOOTs~!! haha... Though the band din stand out as much as HellvenX, as a whole, they're better IMO cos they had the togetherness... HellvenX was kinda too focused on that solo guitarist and vos was too weak. Whereas Ehe'Real's focus was more evenly spread. Plus, they even sang 3 or 4 of their own compositions.. Just that... the diction on their vox was not that clear (might be cos of the mic), cos i couldn't differentiate btw the chinese, english and jap songs.. =P haha..Anyway, next day was cospaly matsuri. Din stay long cos i went for NUS open house. Pics:
These 3 are from Naruto akatsuki group... From left, Deidara, Pein, Tobi. I know Deidara and Tobi personally.. Lolx!! Thay kinda look diff in this get-up.... But not bad... ^^
Whee~!! The prince of tennis cosplayers!! I think they seriously did a good job! From left: Kaido Kaoru, Ryoma Echizen, Tezuka Kunimitsu. Kaido is ilanlan from Sgclub/cafe who previously cospalyed Inui from PoT too.. Smart, cosplayed 2 characters from the same tennis team, save alot of $$ on the outfit.. haha. And he has the fierce gangster look which Kaido has.. haha. Then Ryoma's a girl cosplaying as a guy. She did a really good job! Just that her hair's a little too long.. Tezuka was well done too.. Just that the cosplayer din really have the 'aura' which tezuka exudes. But still well done! and the pose is sooo tesuka like. *zero-shiki drop shot!* ^o^
Then here's L and Near a.k.a N. But this near is the manga version. Pls do not mix him up with the L change the world version. Relatively well done. These 2 cospalyers are brothers who cosplayed sasuke from naruto b4.. haha.. I wonder if their really rich, cos i've seen the older brother cosplayed like 4 diff anime character already.. Which should be super duper EX!!Oh man... Makes me really wanna cosplay... As Akito/agito.This character which blades, wears white pants, orange windbreaker, blue hair, split personality... but... no $$.. haha..
Then! on monday night, i went to watch Step Up 2 with RM. Nice movie. No regerets watching. I totally love the dancing in there. Brings back memories of the jokers' wild days.. XD
Grr... now, i dunno wad i'm doing. Haven't been watching anime/dramas. Haven't been practising piano. Haven't been packing my table.. (Stacks all around)..... Wads wrong with me. I'm like just floating by day to day.... Gosh! i need to FOCUS!!! Many things to do!!! Many things i wanna achieve b4 the start of uni!!
