The Third - Girl with the Blue Eye. (ザ・サード－青い瞳の少女）
The best word to describe this anime is: PURE. Seriously, this anime is so different from the rest i've seen. IT IS NOT LAME AT ALL, unlike the recent animes which can be soooo lame that u're sick of it. Although humour is still present in converstations between characters. This storyline circulates mainly around this 17 yr old girl, Honoka, who travels throughout the barren earth with the help of a sand tank operated by Bogie, an AI. One night while traveling through the desert, she comes upon a strange man named Iks. After saving his life from a stigma of desert ants, Iks requests to follow Honoka in her journeys so he can observe the world. Nicknamed SWORDANCER, she wields a sword perfectly and loves guns and automobiles too. Comparing this to gundam, the action part is much nicer as it includes swords and robots. AND this anime does not have pple with TWISTED personalities, thank god. haha. The scenes are always filled with hope and great graphics.. Night skies filled with stars, the rare blooming of flowers in the desert at night, fireflies in the night.... Plus, even the romance part of the section is so pure, no kissing stuff or the typical romance stuff. Just understanding of each other and being there to help always. Elfen Lied. (エルフェン・リート）
This anime is 60% gore & twisted, 20% nudity and 20% touching. It's only 14 episodes, and i got hooked. Lolx... The bloody scenes really put me off, but the storyline is addictive. It's mainly about a group of humans born with two small horns on their head, something like like cat ears, and they have invisble hands with varying ranges. They used these hands to kill pple, tearing them apart, dislocating heads. But many of them became like that cos they have been abused by humans since young, just because they are different. Some abandoned by parents, some kicked and shamed by classmates. It just shows the cruel side of humanity. And the organisation experimenting on such a 'race' of humans also tortured them unmercilessly. Till, through a series of events, one of the girls, lucy a.k.a nyuu~, lost her memory and got to mix around with some good humans... and another girl, somehow also joined them. And they got to experience family life where they felt warmth and love for the first time. But, the organisation was still hunting them down.....
I almost cried at the end... o(T.T)o my blog's song is the opening song to this anime. ^^
